Susheel.
I’m a human, nothing more, nothing less.
However, in order for you to understand who I am, what I do, or like to do, it’s only reasonable for me to disclose more about myself.
I’m in the data space but you can find more about that and the company I’m very much passionate about on LinkedIn.
I would describe myself as a failed multipotentialite.
I take interest in many things and pursue them as hobbies but only to end up failing at them or reaching a mediocre level of proficiency or simply lacking the activation energy. Programming, writing, skating, photography, skydiving, research, hiking, traveling, and on, the list goes.
However, the one thing that has remained consistent throughout my life is expressing my thoughts on the matters around me, no matter how controversial or radical they may be. Despite an incident which has caused me to take the backseat of my mind regarding the things, people, events around me for the past 12 years, I’ve decided enough is enough.
This blog is the brainchild of 12 years of repressing my emotions and deciding to formalize these thoughts and emotions. I’m hoping I can use it as a central repository to post my musings – about my readings, projects’ progression, unfiltered thoughts on public events – as well as the central node to linking to other initiatives of mine.
If there is one thing I would admit about the number of interests and hobbies I attempt about, it’s that reading and writing have always been my solace, probably the best use of days off, and the most effective way for me to de-stress. All the while providing the most fulfilling sense of accomplishment.
May this also be an ever-consistent effort.
If any good comes out of this, then all praise goes to Him. Only the mistakes belong to me.
